When I was a little girl, and when all this was just a great dream for me, my best friend gave me an Encyclopaedia of Dogs for my birthday. She wrote the next Ivo Andrić’s quote as a dedication on the first page:

“Time tortures and tires only those people who live preoccupied solely with insignificant worrying about themselves and their own pleasures, but it is short and goes by without even noticing it to those who do any kind of work expanding beyond them, forgetting all about themselves; if we measure it with a greatness of one daring and impossible dream, it almost does not even exist.”

I liked this quote; although, I didn’t understand it quite well back then, as I do today.
It is not important what you do… as long as you remain faithful to whom and to what you love.

Apart from certain people dear to my heart, dogs are “my smile keepers” – they always put a smile on my face. At this place I’m talkin about them.
