My name is Vesna Stankovic. I was born in 1970 in Belgrade, the capital of the Republic of Serbia, where I live with my family now.

I studied Biology at University of Belgrade, my closer speciality is Genetics, for graduation I worked in domain of Evolutionary Genetics (Genetics of population), and in the same domain I also have published two scientific researches under the theme “Age specific selection“.

Life and economic situation in Serbia were the reasons that, in addition to science and motherhood, I had to develop skills in marketing and management areas, and they eventually became a leading source of my income and my main occupation. But not my passion as well: I still prefer the science, research and nature, and I think that this will never change. Due to that kinology is my leading hobby and favorite activity.

I’m a dog lover, I would say, since my birth. Not even the intense resistance and opposition of my parents over the years (to tell the truth, they are opposing to this day, but it doesn’t matter even to them any more ) didn’t lessen my desire and intention to work with dogs. Kinology was and still is a big love of my life. This site and all that it represents is the result of it.

If I manage to convey to you the smallest fraction of my joy brought to me by friendship with these lovely beings for decades, this site has served its purpose of existence.
